Most users will find that the iPhone meets their needs because it has a very intuitive interface, a consistent design scheme throughout, and special accessibility features for differently-abled. For some older people, the iPhone’s default font size is too small. To make it easier for them to read, change the text size on the iPhone for better visibility.
How to Change Text Size
Here are the adjustments you’ll need to make, changes the text size on the iPhone. Let’s have a look at them.
Change Text Size on iPhone
iPhone’ screens have grown in size, reaching up to 6.7 inches, which provides a lot of screen real estate but may make it difficult for certain people to see the text at its normal size. Thankfully, Apple has included a feature that allows you to change the text size to suit your needs.
To begin, go to your iPhone’s Settings app and pick Display & Brightness. Scroll down and select Text Size from the drop-down menu.

You will see an empty screen with some text written on top and a slider at the bottom. You can adjust the slider to see a live preview of how the text will look on the screen. Even if the maxed-out font isn’t big enough for you, there’s a hidden setting we can tweak to boost the text size even further. In a moment, we’ll get to that.

After you’ve adjusted the font size, make it bold to make it easier to read. The toggle switch is located just below Text Size in the Display & Brightness settings. Toggle the Bold Text switch on.
Increasing the Display Zoom on your iPhone is another way to make the screen more apparent. You would find the option at the bottom of the Display & Brightness page.

You have two options: Standard is turned on by default, and Zoomed view increases the size of every element on iOS by a small amount. App icons, chat bubbles, and everything else that can be interacted with is included. Set Zoomed View by touching the button in the top right corner.

As I previously stated, if you want the text to be even larger, you can do so. However, this will substantially alter the user interface, so be careful not to overdo it. Go to Accessibility in the Settings app. Under the Vision category, hit Display & Text Size to open its contents.

When you tap Larger Font, you’ll see a toggle button that allows you to change the text size. Toggle the switch on. When you move the slider, the text will dramatically rise.

Adjust the slider till the text size is comfortable and readable for you. And you are done

Change Text Size from Control Center
While going to Settings to modify the text size makes sense, there is a simpler option if you want to change the font size regularly. The slider can be added to the Control Center and used to change the font size on the fly.
Go to Control Center under the Settings menu. Toggle the Text Size option on and off.

Simply swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to access the Control Center menu, then tap the Text Size button. You’ll see a vertical slider that you may use to adjust the size of the text.

Change the Text Size of Printed Text
Many elderly people read newspapers, magazines, and novels with a magnifying lens. The iPhone comes with a handy magnifier that allows you to use the built-in camera to zoom in on any item. The magnifier operates differently than the Camera app’s zoom feature. It allows you to zoom even further because all you have to worry about is the text and not the image quality.
To use the magnifier, go to the Control Center in the Settings app. Locate the Magnifier option and tap it to enable it.

Simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the Control Center, which will reveal the magnifier. To open the Camera, use the Magnifier button.

With the slider, you can zoom in, change the brightness, change the contrast, and even switch on the flashlight. You can take a screenshot of the section of the screen that is visible and read it without having to worry about your hands shaking.

Final Verdict: How to Change Text Size on iPhone
This was an easy technique to change the size of your iPhone’s text. Even while the standard font size is intended to be readable by most people, Apple’s addition of the flexibility to adjust the text size to such extremes is commendable. What are your thoughts?
