How to Change App Icons on iOS 14
The unique icons are saved to your iPhone when you download an icon pack. Most icon packs and apps listed below will require you to use the Shortcuts app to manually alter each app’s icon. To save time, I’ve outlined the methods below, so you can quickly download and personalize the app icons. If any apps demand a different way, I’d make a note of it in the app’s description.
1: Begin by downloading the icon pack from the following sources. The icon images should be saved to your Photos or Files app.
2: To create a new shortcut, open the Shortcuts app and tap the Plus button in the top right corner. To add a new action, use the Add Action button.
3: Locate and open the Open app.
4: Now you must add the app whose icon you want to replace to the list. To see the list of apps, tap Choose. Let’s assume I wanted to modify the app icon for Instagram, so I went with that option.
5: Select Add to Home Screen from the Options menu in the top right corner.
6: Change the shortcut’s name to the name of the program. I renamed it Instagram. Next to the name, tap the icon.
7: Go to the folder where your app icon is saved and choose it. The icons were saved to the Photos app. Select a custom app icon.
8: To add the Instagram custom symbol to the Home Screen, tap Add. Give your shortcut a name now, and then tap Done.
9: Your Instagram icon is now the new icon on the Home Screen. You can put the old Instagram app in a folder, but don’t get rid of it. Every time you tap the app icon, Instagram would open.
Repeat the process for each app icon you want to change. You may expedite the process by using the Icon Themer Siri Shortcut, which allows you to change the icons of numerous apps at once. Simply download the Shortcut and follow the on-screen instructions to get started.
