10 Best iOS 14 Widgets for Power Users

The iOS 14 upgrade provides iPhone owners with a variety of customization options. Apple has finally responded to user demand by allowing users to customize their home screens with resizable widgets and custom app icons. With iOS 14 widgets, your boring iPhone home screen is going to get a makeover.

With the widgets for first-party apps, Apple has set a precedent. App developers have reacted quickly with their own versions of iOS 14 widgets. We’re only a month into iOS 14’s release, and the App Store is already brimming with hundreds of apps that feature well-designed widgets.

1. Apollo

On the iPhone, Apollo provides one of the greatest Reddit experiences. With iOS 14 widgets, Christian Selig (the Apollo developer) pushed it to the next level. Apollo has a variety of widget styles available in three sizes: small, medium, and large. As a result, you’re looking at 15 widgets to choose from

2. ClimaCell Weather Assistant

For the most part, the basic iOS weather widget is sufficient. However, if you want to take your gaming experience to the next level, download ClimaCell.

TickTick is the productivity app equivalent of a Swiss army knife. And TickTick is a task management app that also includes a habit tracker, calendar, timer, and other features. With a Kanban-style project management and notes add-on, the software gets even better on the desktop.

When it comes to widgets, you can check the remaining chores for the day and even play around with habit widgets to make sure you’re sticking to the schedule. TickTick is a truly cross-platform service that runs on all major operating systems.

4. Gmail

Gmail is one of the most widely used email programs. Users can now change the default Mail and Browser apps on their iPhones with iOS 14. With essential adjustments and a useful iOS widget to conduct important tasks quickly, Gmail is right up there.

To add the Gmail widget, simply long-press on the home screen. For the time being, there is only one widget to pick from. It allows you to search for emails fast, compose an email, and even peek at unopened emails without having to launch the app.
